no a better analogy would be McDonald's and Burger King have different fast food menu items, but they're still in the umbrella of fast food corporations

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/heathen
"The definition and etymology of heathen overlap with those of pagan: both words denote “an unconverted member of a people or nation that does not acknowledge the God of the Bible,” and heathen, like pagan, is believed to have come from the term for a country inhabitant, or in this case, a "heath dweller."

Both words have developed broader and pejorative meanings over time, with pagan being used to mean “an irreligious or hedonistic person” and heathen “uncivilized” or “strange,” but their original meanings are still in use."

Ah yes

2020-09-11 05:17:36 UTC

More tardation

2020-09-11 05:18:08 UTC

well it's just what the word means

2020-09-11 05:18:16 UTC

"We carried this word to continents with people who didn't speak our language but they all identify as the word because we said so"

no, those people are pagans because they believe in the false religions, they do not accept the True God

2020-09-11 05:19:51 UTC

ie: the aztecs believed in numerous demonic entities and worshipped them, hence the aztecs were pagans

2020-09-11 05:20:10 UTC

pagans worship trees

2020-09-11 05:20:17 UTC

yea some do

2020-09-11 05:21:41 UTC

im arguing with some dude on twitter, he got amrica first conservative/pro-God in bio and he's siding with lgbt

2020-09-11 05:21:50 UTC

kinda weird

2020-09-11 05:22:12 UTC

pagans worship various things; demonic entities, idols, natural creatures or phenomenon, astral bodies like stars, and even people; these are where their subtle differences come in. They never worship the True God though, and so this is where they are common and are called pagans.

2020-09-11 05:22:58 UTC

and lol sounds like the fellow on twitter is confused

2020-09-11 05:23:05 UTC

yeah

2020-09-11 05:25:52 UTC

this made me laugh

"access to human sacrifice is a religious right.

as an Aztec, I am required to have access to a human sacrifice should I require one.

removing that would infringe on my religious freedoms."

2020-09-11 05:26:36 UTC

that's kind of typical though these days, i observe a lot of people want to be conservative and/or Christian, but yet they support lifestyles are the direct opposite. I think this is partly like they view being a conservative kind of liek a trend or fad

2020-09-11 05:26:57 UTC

exactly

2020-09-11 05:27:05 UTC

lol well the Aztecs didn't believe in God lol

2020-09-11 05:27:41 UTC

funny line of argument though

2020-09-11 05:29:54 UTC

of course without even going that route a really simple counter-argument would be that the Aztecs were from Mexico, not the USA lol

2020-09-11 05:31:12 UTC

i guess he will have to take up his grievance with the Mexican government and see if he can reinstute the ritualistic sacrifice of hearts to feed the sun at the temple to the sun in Mexico which their ritual requires

2020-09-11 06:07:07 UTC

is Disney a Christian or Pagan experience?

2020-09-11 06:07:49 UTC

I keep watching Disneyland videos and wonder how people can visit these places so many times in a year

2020-09-11 06:07:59 UTC

well Disney has influence from both. A lot of the old Disney movies are based off both old european pagan fairytales as well as some from Europe's Christian era

2020-09-11 06:08:34 UTC

of course Disney today is a whole other beast now, extremely liberal and new agey and atheistic/secularistic pagan views are put into their more modern work

2020-09-11 06:10:44 UTC

it that why they need to keep remaking older stuff but putting liberal ideals?

2020-09-11 06:11:07 UTC

that Mulan movie is raising all sorts of stuff

2020-09-11 06:11:13 UTC

i think partly yes, i think the other part for doing remakes is a business standpoint, it's a safer bet

2020-09-11 06:11:50 UTC

it's less risky to remake a movie that you know is popular than it is to make a whole new movie and risk investing millions into it

2020-09-11 06:14:11 UTC

at the same time the political correct madness is sort of the dearth of art and storytelling, so their remakes are pretty pitiful, even their new additions to existing series, for example Star Wars, are frankly boring disasters because atheistic type worldviews just cannot realyl capture the complexities and dramas that make art good

2020-09-11 06:15:37 UTC

Im watching this video of some faggot complaining about not being pandered to despite knowing full well his kind are not normal.

2020-09-11 06:15:47 UTC

lol

2020-09-11 06:17:57 UTC

like how is it gay to like flowers, ferdinand just likes flowers

2020-09-11 06:18:03 UTC

they are condemned to struggle against everything, this is why i think it is most unwise to compromise with them. I have seen in my lifetime first they struggle with getting their sexual abuse seen as normalized, it was given to them by the compromisers, then they wanted to blaspheme the churches and insist on havign fake marriages, and even that was given to them, and now we're up to mutilating their bodies to pretend they're women and the disgusting anal birth thing others shared in the mees section

2020-09-11 06:18:37 UTC

mpreg?

2020-09-11 06:18:57 UTC

they just will never stop degenerating if society continues to compromise with them. While it seems maybe offensive to modern sensibility, the Bible realyl was right, you have to throw them out of the land or else the whole land will jsut degenerate more
