Naw, think he'd pass the torch to DT Jr.

2020-12-06 16:21:52 UTC

Who is inarguably far more well-spoken than his father.

2020-12-06 16:21:57 UTC

Do you two follow sports?

2020-12-06 16:22:03 UTC

Which you should be concerned with.

2020-12-06 16:22:20 UTC

As that was one of Trump's main issues.

2020-12-06 16:22:36 UTC

I'm very concerned about people who follow sports... The circus and bread crowd.

2020-12-06 16:22:51 UTC

Naw.

2020-12-06 16:23:11 UTC

Too much of a nerd.

2020-12-06 16:24:31 UTC

are links to war on drugs info

2020-12-06 16:24:32 UTC

Used to follow before the pandemic.. now all games feel like practice games. No crowds. To pressure

2020-12-06 16:25:23 UTC

At least you're honest about it, perhaps I am a nerd because I'm embarrassed for you.

2020-12-06 16:26:09 UTC

That's just me, and I'm mostly ill equipped to blend in with normal people.

2020-12-06 16:26:53 UTC

To me sports is just another method of pseudo-tribalism.

2020-12-06 16:27:11 UTC

Same reason I don't watch e-sports.

2020-12-06 16:27:58 UTC

Its entertainment..

2020-12-06 16:28:24 UTC

Yes, but **why** is it entertaining?

2020-12-06 16:28:47 UTC

Because it's pseudo-tribalistic.

2020-12-06 16:29:43 UTC

Has to do with the environment one grows up in

2020-12-06 16:30:45 UTC

This is another reason politics is entertaining at the moment.

2020-12-06 16:30:46 UTC

Full disclosure I like to play soccer as a kid never cared to watch it.

2020-12-06 16:30:51 UTC

Same.

2020-12-06 16:30:57 UTC

I played sports.

2020-12-06 16:31:09 UTC

That was the point of bringing up the question.

2020-12-06 16:31:11 UTC

I don't see myself watching sports unless I'm rooting for a team.

2020-12-06 16:32:14 UTC

Yes rooting for a team .

2020-12-06 16:32:18 UTC

Haha, I don't see myself ever rooting for a team unless I'm rooting for the demise of the whole and that wouldn't involve watching it

2020-12-06 16:32:21 UTC

Alot of expectations

2020-12-06 16:35:59 UTC

And rooting for a team is a form of tribalism.

2020-12-06 16:36:10 UTC

Not saying it's bad tribalism, we aren't in the UK.

2020-12-06 16:36:58 UTC

The UK takes their team tribalism... ridiculously seriously.

2020-12-06 16:37:22 UTC

I swear it's just an excuse for pseudo-gangs to punch each other.

2020-12-06 16:55:01 UTC

Nothing wrong with tribes in sports...I would say it’s more a problem when it happens it politics or other areas: back the blue, antifa BLM/republics/dems etc. Even in sports, American tribalism is ridiculously seriously, like college basketball.

Better to be in sports than in gangs.

2020-12-06 16:57:43 UTC

While I don't entirely agree with the back the blue narrative, they're usually not very violent.

2020-12-06 16:57:46 UTC

Unlike antifa.

2020-12-06 16:59:34 UTC

I think BLM is unfairly tied into the same group as Antifa, and some people vehemently think everyone in there (BLM) is a communist.

2020-12-06 16:59:40 UTC

When it's really not the case.

2020-12-06 17:00:27 UTC

It's just the right's version of guilt by association.

2020-12-06 17:00:56 UTC

Back the blue & all the other tribes in the US are more violent than British football “tribes” tribalism doesn’t really exist her. We call it “passionately supporting our teams”. Where we use football to educate in ending violence/racism.

BLM & antifa maybe two different entities but definitely go hand in hand....I have heard rumours of a divorce between the two.

2020-12-06 17:01:04 UTC

Well, the live streams are pretty good evidence that BLM is a horrible group.
