Nothing substantial in that article.
I don’t need to believe him, I just observe recorded video. Nothing deceptive about it.
Are you guys advancing conservative culture?
Veritas is left’s worst nightmare
The fraud investigations are, in great part, thanks to his work
There is no way recorded video can be clipped in egregious contexts.
No siree.
Yessiree.
Prove one video of his way filmed this way.
Was*
Not like that one Biden comment that "He admitted to running the biggest fraud operation in history"
I literally have.
You just didn't read it.
No video there.
Nothing of importance there.
No video is described in that article.
> The Blaze.
This isn't new to O'Keef, he's done this numerous times.
If you wish to continue to follow his videos as gospel if he doesn't release entire unedited versions, that's your prerogative.
`[...] it is another thing to approve of editing tactics that seem designed to intentionally lie or mislead about the material being presented.`
The fact that folks aren't being more skeptical of people's claims is beyond me.
You haven’t reviewed the original video and are relying on secondary source commentary to make up your mind for you.
The goal of O’Keefe’s videos is to expose unethical behaviour. He accomplished this. The article does not dispute this.
He got fired because of the video.
Also you may want to read a few of those lawsuits that you say he won.
As a heads up.
Did you read them, or did you look up an article?
Also the article also says as I quoted above.
You have not looked at the video.
You’re accepting secondary source commentary as unquestionable truth.
This is a problem
You do not review the primary source material being referenced and just assume the author talking about it has done his/her job 100% truthfully, honestly, and without omissions. This is a problem.
`The California Attorney General's Office granted O'Keefe and Giles limited immunity from prosecution in exchange for providing the full, unedited videotapes related to ACORN offices in California. The AG's Report was released on April 1, 2010, concluding that the videos from ACORN offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Bernardino had been "severely edited." The report found there was no evidence of criminal conduct on the part of ACORN employees nor any evidence that any employee intended to aid or abet criminal conduct. It found that three employees had tried to deflect the couple's plans, told them ACORN could not offer them help on the grounds they wanted, and otherwise dealt with them appropriately. Such context was not reflected in O'Keefe's edited tapes. The AG's Report noted that "O'Keefe stated that he was out to make a point and to damage ACORN and therefore did not act as a journalist objectively reporting a story".` https://oag.ca.gov/system/files/attachments/press_releases/n1888_acorn_report.pdf
The problem is when people don't look at both sides and take one's side as gospel.
Check out that awesome defense.
`O'Keefe stated that he was out to make a point and to damage ACORN and therefore did not act as a journalist objectively reporting a story`
The truth.
Wowee.
He was out to make a point and damage ACORN. That is the motive of undercover journalism. This motive does not render the footage false. Please send the video being referenced.
