Nice. I sailed around Corfu also, that was amazing. You could almost see the mythology in the landscape, loved it.

Why'd they leave?

2020-12-13 20:30:40 UTC

2020-12-13 20:33:30 UTC

SHAKESPEARE'S "hamlet" was derived from Aeschylus's "Oresteia"

2020-12-13 20:36:28 UTC

They said they left because it was so dirty

2020-12-13 20:38:19 UTC

That was where they were at

2020-12-13 20:40:14 UTC

We're getting quite philosophical in here... And that's a big dang word coming from a redneck

2020-12-13 20:40:15 UTC

@Clare P I do it gooder!

2020-12-13 20:44:48 UTC

2020-12-13 20:46:19 UTC

Kids always extend words like that because it makes sense ๐Ÿ˜‚

2020-12-13 20:46:23 UTC

@Lloyd Owen I enjoy learning american history and really digging deep beyond what's in the books. With family being in military, you learn more than what you're supposed too. It's secret truths that interest me. Don't be mislead, I'm not ignorant in history.

2020-12-13 20:47:02 UTC

<@783409965003440139> because we rednecks ruined it. It was always some buck tooth hick saying it

2020-12-13 20:48:17 UTC

2020-12-13 20:49:18 UTC

2020-12-13 20:49:53 UTC

I read about 80 Civil War books, once I figured out that everything I'd heard and been taught was garbage
I remodeled 29 dilapidated houses, so my neck has been pretty red at times (ha

I need to read about 1776 and the civil war a bit more. I read a book about Custer and Sitting Bull not long ago, that was great. So much of what happened was down to the railroad companies pushing for more and more expansion

2020-12-13 20:51:06 UTC

Not sitting Bull, Crazy Horse

2020-12-13 20:51:14 UTC

@Lloyd Owen yeah, you'd find other stuff interesting too that's not in those books... Like the tornado that saved the Whitehouse from the british

2020-12-13 20:52:01 UTC

Any recommendations for a civil war book Lloyd?

2020-12-13 20:52:54 UTC

@America 1st 1776 Good the Federal Election committee should declare the Election illegitimate

2020-12-13 20:52:59 UTC

I collect as many as possible to hand down when I'm old as who knows what history will have been rewritten by then

2020-12-13 20:56:16 UTC

The Guns of Cedar Creek," by Thomas A. Lewis is special, though I have at least 30 favorites. -- that battle nearly cost Lincoln the 1864 election

2020-12-13 20:56:51 UTC

Thanks, I will order that ๐Ÿ‘
