3600 XMP ran fine on my 9900k
and i manually upped it to 3700 and ran memetest without issues for a few hours
i could probably go higher if i raise the voltage a bit
I'll probably need to get watercooling at some point
CPU is fine
But the amd meme is real, the gpu heats up a fuck tonne
70 degrees on any game, medium settings
what card
vsync on ?
Vega 64
i mean medium settings dont matter shit if your card pushes the 1005123 frames anyway out
No vsync on any fps games because it creates noticeable input lag
Though I use vsync on any other game
i have never noticed difference in arma or otherwise
because the default input latency in arma is 5 hours
:-D true enough
With games like csgo, apex, overwatch, any input lag is noticeable
can't say i ever had issues with input lag in those games
but i use gsync
related to vsync
maybe lucky or maybe freesync / i just dont care from 20ms differences
Csgo with vsync is abysmal
Noticed with 3 different gpus
do you play with the fps limit disabled too
but yeah it wont matter at all if your fps is allowed to go ham/vsync not on
as gpu will still "try to push all it can down to pipe"
@Goz3rr I limit the fps at 150 fps for all the fps, then vsync for the rest
but indeed AMD GPUs are still quite darn hot if you dont get proper fan model
150 fps is less than my monitors refresh rate <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
the blower fan is only so-so effective compared to wattage they produce as heat
i would unironically buy that asus PG35VQ, but they've been delaying it for years
I'll see if Ali has any Vega waterblocks <:alismirk:230784726615588865> <:aliOK:251417852156837888>
thats one nice monitor hnnnngh
I need to upgrade my monitors now that I've got the gpu to match
Only problem is the student budget
yeah cant afford to sink 700usd to single monitor
why live
Lol
