between android_data and the ntfs ones

2016-07-08 23:19:33 UTC

i wouldn't delete all the partitions, there's important stuff there like the efi boot stuff

2016-07-08 23:19:40 UTC

unallocated*

2016-07-08 23:20:00 UTC

idk they seem kind of important

2016-07-08 23:20:05 UTC

isnt EFI just for windows stuff

2016-07-08 23:20:09 UTC

or is it bios?

2016-07-08 23:20:15 UTC

yeah, i see ntfs-based ones in there, so this is a windows/android dual-boot device? weird

2016-07-08 23:20:26 UTC

afaik it's the new kind of bios

2016-07-08 23:20:33 UTC

i'm not sure if windows would like you messing with the partition table outside it's walled garden, either

2016-07-08 23:20:44 UTC

don't quote me on this but i think deleting the efi will brick the device

2016-07-08 23:20:51 UTC

k

2016-07-08 23:21:02 UTC

I can show how it looked before

2016-07-08 23:21:03 UTC

deleting EFI partition would likely (not 100%, depends on device design) soft brick the device, i am assuming you are mounting the storage offline?

2016-07-08 23:21:59 UTC

this is how it was

2016-07-08 23:22:06 UTC

well I reversed it now

2016-07-08 23:22:10 UTC

I just want to delete windows

2016-07-08 23:22:14 UTC

and make android_data bigger

2016-07-08 23:23:01 UTC

i think what you can do is resize the partitions like an inchworm until you get to android_data

2016-07-08 23:23:38 UTC

k my mouse is connected to my tablet

2016-07-08 23:23:41 UTC

so I cant press 😄

2016-07-08 23:24:18 UTC

so what I do is

2016-07-08 23:24:23 UTC

make the ntfs unallocated

2016-07-08 23:24:40 UTC

when make the one over unallocated

2016-07-08 23:24:42 UTC

huge

2016-07-08 23:24:50 UTC

that partition table is confusing lol

2016-07-08 23:24:54 UTC

"microsoft android" etc

2016-07-08 23:24:55 UTC

and then make it small at the same size again

2016-07-08 23:24:58 UTC

😄

2016-07-08 23:25:03 UTC

chinks ❤

2016-07-08 23:25:24 UTC

yeah, but you make it small over to the right so that the extra space has been moved to the left

2016-07-08 23:25:49 UTC

then you repeat the process until you get to the data partition

2016-07-08 23:26:09 UTC

what @Count Blecky said is correct, you could keep resizing between adjacent partitions until you get it where you need it i suppose
