2016-07-24 23:29:26 UTC

you using photoshop

2016-07-24 23:29:36 UTC

is that watercolour in the last thread yours?

2016-07-24 23:29:39 UTC

sketchbook has mad as fuck perspecttive tools

2016-07-24 23:29:50 UTC

I never heard of sketchbook

2016-07-24 23:30:06 UTC

no i dont do watercolor

2016-07-24 23:30:42 UTC

i came across sketchbook when i was looking for something to use on my phone

2016-07-24 23:30:49 UTC

it has a pro? version

2016-07-24 23:31:09 UTC

you pay some dollars and it has a whole slew of copic marker colors with its complementary colors listed

2016-07-24 23:31:21 UTC

which is actually better as a try before you buy for real copic markers

2016-07-24 23:31:57 UTC

i dont enjoy how blurry some brushes are in sketchbook which is why i just do geometric shapes and then move it to photoshop

2016-07-24 23:33:24 UTC

I never strayed far from photoshop

2016-07-24 23:33:41 UTC

I know some people also use sai and clip studio paint

2016-07-24 23:34:09 UTC

I have sai i really love the normal pen tool on there, it has really good pressure reaction and the blending tools are phenominal

2016-07-24 23:34:29 UTC

I actually don't understand how photoshop didn't pick some of the features from those two though

2016-07-24 23:34:44 UTC

I don't remember which one of them lets you make your own pressure curve

2016-07-24 23:35:08 UTC

honestly i'd love for photoshop to have the perspective drawing that sai has

2016-07-24 23:35:16 UTC
2016-07-24 23:35:24 UTC

how hard can it be to do a heatsink

2016-07-24 23:35:26 UTC

you can do some really top knotch architecture in minutes

2016-07-24 23:36:00 UTC

Krita is another free drawing program i tried

2016-07-24 23:36:07 UTC

but it uses your GPU for just about everything

2016-07-24 23:36:10 UTC

it's sweet and all

2016-07-24 23:36:16 UTC

but it's only decent because it's free

2016-07-24 23:36:24 UTC

otherwise i find it's a bit laggy

2016-07-24 23:36:27 UTC

It's open source, I don't expect anything much from it

2016-07-24 23:36:30 UTC

all software is free

2016-07-24 23:36:54 UTC

They have a weird as fuck mascot

2016-07-24 23:42:31 UTC

they do.

2016-07-24 23:42:43 UTC

i also tried foollishly a thing i got off steam

2016-07-24 23:42:49 UTC

called blackink

2016-07-24 23:42:53 UTC

it's totally difrerent

2016-07-24 23:43:10 UTC

completley weird as fuck made for like, super customisation of brushes and whatever

2016-07-24 23:43:37 UTC

i tried it for a while but was only able to make nice geometric wallpapers in it with lines and shit

2016-07-24 23:43:59 UTC

it eventually turned every file i had into an .ink file

2016-07-24 23:44:12 UTC

my computer crahed later that day

2016-07-24 23:44:18 UTC

didn't install it again
