hello
what is your opinion on windows 10
I use linux.
running it/10
good, vual
Can I ask a question here
depends
on what question
So there's a bunch of job offers for windows admin, I mean tons
Not a lot for linux admin / engineer but I found one offer for a senior position. I'm not a senior (yet) but ya. is it a wise decesion to further develop my skills in Linux?
personally I believe windows gonna go soon
and companies will use linux more and more
>windows admin
why
is that a job
Because windows server is a thing
And it will keep being a thing
Yeah.
ok
still im betting on developing my linux skill instead
can nano server compete with linux?
nano server=windows server
I think
after a quick google
But they probably cover completely separate use cases
search
Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview offers a new installation option: Nano Server. Nano Server is a remotely administered server operating system optimized for private clouds and datacenters.
goodbye, gonna eat poo in loo food
cya
bai
No respectable company will ever use Linux, I'd believe
It's either Windows for the cloud capability, or OSX for the uniformity
There IS a good reason why you don't see alot of Linux admin positions, you know
i disagre
the major telecom operator in this country is kicking out all and everything taht is windows
its not performant
and it costs fucking money
That might be unique for your country
>my performance is bad because of the os I'm using
Now that's just silly
Cause I'm smack dab in the middle of the Swedish silicon valley, and most employers have expressed that they don't feel like they can go with Linux
