Turtle beach was always pretty low quality, but they really went down hill after the x11.

X12s had better audio clarity, and supposedly fixed the controller charging buzzing sounds (they didnt). But the earcups were way too small, and the foam pads were really hard. They were light and actually felt cheap.

It was literally like wearing something in between on ear and over ear headphones. Awkward as fuck.

Oh and the microphone was absolute dogs hit. Sounded hollow as fuck. I'm in the same boat, anon. 470 seems like it has the necessary overhead to simply match or outperform a 480 with oc. But the 480 is obviously having driver utilization bottlenecks currently. It'll pull away down the road.
