you can buy them already on there for like 5 bucks

2016-09-03 14:28:30 UTC

do you reckon that they're genuine merch that somebody stole from work?

2016-09-03 14:28:36 UTC

you could sell them locally though

2016-09-03 14:28:38 UTC

dunno

2016-09-03 14:28:42 UTC

might be shadowruns

2016-09-03 14:29:00 UTC

shadowruns?

2016-09-03 14:29:08 UTC

as in like coppies?

2016-09-03 14:30:43 UTC

Sort of, a lot of official merch is contracted out to factories in china right. What lots of dodgy factory owners do is run the production lines at night when they're meant to be off, and sell merch themselves. So they're 1:1 with the official merch with all the correct tags etc, but the factory owner sells them individually at a higher price than they'd get from a company like nintendo in bulk.

2016-09-03 14:32:01 UTC

A lot of repos are done this way too. Like fake beats that look perfect and come with perfect retail boxes. They're shadowruns in the legit factories, but they put in lower quality speakers etc

2016-09-03 14:32:25 UTC

@Dale yeah those are pretty bootleg tier

2016-09-03 14:33:00 UTC

There's another term other than shadowrunning that is more frequently used, I'll try to dig it out, there are some good articles on the practice

2016-09-03 14:33:12 UTC

heck i'm not bothered for that price

2016-09-03 14:33:32 UTC

for $2 more you could have

2016-09-03 14:33:41 UTC

2016-09-03 14:39:05 UTC

2016-09-03 14:51:36 UTC
