i drank too much coffee and am trying really hard to not get any work done today

well the first stage is going to be a lot of "hosted video" and that's kinda already happening

i think HBO is hosted by MLBAM

the baseball people

but eventually everyone will try to do video as that stuff becomes demystified

on their own or whatever

so every has-been media and tv station is going to try to run their own version of hulu

but the smarts will likely be content producers hosting and monetizing their own shit

which kinda sucks since it shifts the power equation away from boring youtubers back to larger entities, but i guess it's good since those people generally suck anyway

itd be lharder to browse

i think youtube will outlast netflix

i think netflix is structured better to do more interesting things with their money
