There was a pretty interesting article in a German newspaper building a fictional world in which Trump did everything he said in his election program. Things fell apart pretty quickly, with the American economy failing due to Canada and Mexico doing a free trade agreement and creating further connections to the EU and China introducing high tariffs. Also exchanges and the finance market all over the world in chaos.

Basically America became a failed state slowly.

As I said, he doesn't only has normal voters behind him but a whole "movement". And that movement will only remain calm as long as their expectations are met.

Maybe he was in talks about making a new TV show because Trump understands the value of calibrating his message and keeping his movement entertained
