Does the power button work on it

2016-11-17 14:14:01 UTC

Those always fail on the 5's

2016-11-17 14:14:26 UTC

well the whole phone works but the battery is terrible

2016-11-17 14:14:34 UTC

shuts down after 10 min or so

2016-11-17 14:14:53 UTC

Just be patient the first time you remove the cover

2016-11-17 14:15:10 UTC

Use soft plastic tools

2016-11-17 14:15:16 UTC

Old credit cards etc

2016-11-17 14:15:39 UTC

After the first time the cover comes off easy

2016-11-17 14:15:55 UTC

You can buy replacement Phillips screws if you don't like the pentalobe

2016-11-17 14:16:12 UTC

This is because, well, the stuff inside can and will fail

2016-11-17 14:16:22 UTC

idevice suckage

2016-11-17 14:16:57 UTC

So if you're gonna repair you should sell the thing to someone you don't like

2016-11-17 14:17:13 UTC

If you're gonna give away then be prepared to repair it again

2016-11-17 14:17:28 UTC

Or use it as a backup phone if it's unlocked

2016-11-17 15:00:28 UTC

what are good adapters for the bm 800?

2016-11-17 15:01:13 UTC

adapters?

2016-11-17 15:01:18 UTC

uwot

2016-11-17 15:01:50 UTC

the 3,5 to usb adapter thing to provide the needed 5v

2016-11-17 15:02:09 UTC

or can a soundcard do the same? im noob

2016-11-17 15:02:37 UTC

that is a soundcard technically

2016-11-17 15:02:39 UTC

but i get you

2016-11-17 15:02:51 UTC

depends on your onboard soundcard though

2016-11-17 15:03:07 UTC

most people get the USB soundcards becasue they dont have a microphone jack

2016-11-17 15:03:20 UTC

best one to get is the UGREEN one though

2016-11-17 15:03:29 UTC

since the cheap ones suck

2016-11-17 15:03:34 UTC

and somakes kill

2016-11-17 15:03:57 UTC

honestly either way, onboard OR usb both suck

2016-11-17 15:04:00 UTC

i have realtek something onboard

2016-11-17 15:04:15 UTC

if it has AGC then it should be at least functional

2016-11-17 15:04:18 UTC

should i get a internal soundcard? or do it have to be a external one

2016-11-17 15:04:30 UTC

doesnt matter

2016-11-17 15:04:37 UTC

usb ones are usually cheaper though

2016-11-17 15:04:51 UTC

but if you have a microphone jack you dont need one either way unless you dont have AGC

2016-11-17 15:05:43 UTC

ok how do i know if i have AGC

2016-11-17 15:05:55 UTC

you on windows?

2016-11-17 15:05:59 UTC

yes

2016-11-17 15:06:17 UTC

go into your recording devices by right clicking on your sound icon in the toolbar

2016-11-17 15:06:46 UTC

then rightclick on the device you'd use with the mic port and hit properties

2016-11-17 15:07:23 UTC

then go into the custom tab and see if AGC is listed

2016-11-17 15:07:36 UTC

or potentially some other propriatary gain control

2016-11-17 15:08:46 UTC

i have windows in german, translated there is a levler
