I bought a chink 5/10V reference using an analog devices IC with a chink calibration on it. I don't think it's a meme (even though a number of hobby folks have made videos on them).

They generally suck

and typically arent 100w

They might consume a ton of power and are basically giant power sinks but they most definitely aren't as great as people make them out to be. Feels like factory rejects

Chinks are great at building and shipping demoboard designs and they aren't as likely to fuck around since the designs are already pretty minimal in the first place. I wouldn't dare buy anything that costs more than $10usd from ali anymore though
