can't you drive with a learner's permit at 16 there?
Learners needs 100 hours
then you get your P plate, which means you can drive by yourself
but I have no money
because I get underpaid and my shifts are shorter than the list of your sexual encounters.
that's shitty
here the driving is way worse tho
you take a written to get a g1 which means you can drive but for the 1st year you have to be accompanied by an adult at all times
or 8 months if you take drivers training
then after that period is up you take your g2 which lets you drive alone but with a ton of restrictions
like no ba level at all untill you're 25 and set amounts of passengers in the car at certain times of day
Aye, g1 is the same here but 100 hours isntead of 1 year, or 80 hours if you do training
g2 is restricted af just like your first P plate
then after that you get a g which is your full license but they make you take more tests
can¨'t drive alone unless you have a real license here
it's like 2.5 years of cancer
second P plate is practically a full license but a few restrictions
and full license is, of course, full license
but i live in sw ontario so the law is kinda just a suggestion
I got back on a normal sleep schedule
It's 8am I'm still up
I want a job in retail or something to do with electronics.
you'll catch 10 dudes loaded into a lifted truck, all fucked out of their minds, driving out to a bush party and the cops don't give a fuck
dude work at staples
i do, it's not that bad tbh
i think you'll have an easier time than most long term tbh
pixel turtle
we call it officeworks in australia, but yeah.
what do you mean tore?
officeworks isn't staples
diff company
same store
i know lots of kids who has had everything paid for them throughout their life then they fuck up later in their lives and become depressed because zero experience
I have nothing formal or spectacular for a resume or anything
<:taikodrum:230990052233052160>
well you start working at a young age, thats good
top tip
just make a decent resume ish
doesn't need to be great
I'm straight C's in school, my only work experience thus far is domino's, and I have no extracurricular or awards given to me ever. Sure, employers loves seeing "I do cadets ayy" because >muh initiative but whatever.
