Oh, I got a microphone and was looking for an arm, what did this cost?
You can get a chink mic arm for like $12 I think
i have a 5.1 teufel sound thing. it shat the bad 3 years ago when moving. its probably just the cables. lately, i was thinking if getting chink replacement cables are a good idea. sadly, i am an audio idiot.
so, essentially, aside all memeing, are chink cables viable?

My dishwasher is broken
How do I fix it?
Ok
Ecks dee
Ok
if you think the cables have gone to shit, what's stopping you from replacing them with similar/larger AWG?
So I've said fuck it, and going to buy those mod component from aliex as well
Only another few dollars
Makes the total price NZD$26
On a side tangent, there's this 2TB WD Enterprice black I said much eariler on was fucked and broken
Only 3GB of bad sectors
Still very much usable
@42N primarily the fact that I dont really knew anything about music electronics and just now thought about it. so AWG as in american wire gauge? i ll have a look into it
The higher the number the thinner the wire
can i just replace them with thicker ones? mine are quite thin
You could
assuming your 5.1 system is similar to mine and most others
you could just splice new wires in
have you found the source of the problem though?
its gotta be the cables pretty much. sometimes sound is coming through, but the slightest shaking or vibration and its gone
ah
check your cable connections, you may have to restrip them and throw them back in
i just feel kinda dumb when it comes to music stuff. never bothered to get into it. thats why i just grabbed my headphones when the thing broke down
how old is it? I have a ten year old system that works fine
6-7y
guessing it hasn't been in the sun?
thats not a serious question is it?
and i am just sitting here in my basement
oh great
yeah check connections, put some music through and wiggle wires
