is the clamp pretty strong

2017-01-06 05:29:08 UTC

i dont know how to measure that but its a little tighter than i would like

2017-01-06 05:29:24 UTC

but they're on-ear headphones so the isolation is dependant on the clamping force

2017-01-06 05:29:38 UTC

yeah tru

2017-01-06 05:29:54 UTC

i just get headaches really easily :(

2017-01-06 05:30:00 UTC

from too much pressure

2017-01-06 05:30:23 UTC

another con is probably the headband adjustment

2017-01-06 05:31:30 UTC

the 'steps' are subtle and there are so many, so if you put them on your head where both sides are equally adjusted they'll probably slide so one side is longer than the other

2017-01-06 05:32:17 UTC

oh gotcha

2017-01-06 05:32:31 UTC

it doesnt really change the fit, it just makes you look goofy

2017-01-06 05:32:33 UTC

i have a pair of shp 9500s that are like that sorta lol

2017-01-06 05:33:15 UTC

if you get them for 30 bucks off ebay its still a steal, even though its insanely bass heavy

2017-01-06 05:38:04 UTC

its a pain to look for replacement earpads

2017-01-06 05:38:09 UTC

they dont exist

2017-01-06 05:38:19 UTC

its insanely hard to take them out

2017-01-06 05:38:28 UTC

on the t3s?

2017-01-06 05:38:30 UTC

yes

2017-01-06 05:38:35 UTC

yeah id assume so lol

2017-01-06 05:38:56 UTC

you have to pry the casing open and do some next level shit with a screwdriver or a repair kit

2017-01-06 05:38:58 UTC

everyones got their glued in pads or like custom attachments

2017-01-06 05:39:18 UTC

:(

2017-01-06 05:39:33 UTC

a plastic lip and leather is all you need

2017-01-06 05:40:02 UTC

i wish they were velour or something but that would leak the sound

2017-01-06 05:40:11 UTC

ye

2017-01-06 05:40:42 UTC

i had these fabric pads before for my superlux hd 330s

2017-01-06 05:40:53 UTC

they just made high frequencies so piercing and killed all the bass

2017-01-06 05:41:35 UTC

just eq it B)

2017-01-06 05:41:44 UTC

eq doesnt fix everything ;-;

2017-01-06 05:41:52 UTC

2017-01-06 05:41:59 UTC

2017-01-06 05:42:27 UTC

acoustics arent 2 be fukd with

2017-01-06 05:43:33 UTC

i feel like fixing with digital can only do so much

2017-01-06 05:43:43 UTC

if it sounds fine to you then what's the problem

2017-01-06 05:43:58 UTC

true :)

2017-01-06 05:44:08 UTC

its all subjective

2017-01-06 05:44:14 UTC

eiaosi x6 sound fine to me when i eq, but i wouldnt type that in the thread because they would sperg out

2017-01-06 05:44:55 UTC

2017-01-06 05:44:57 UTC
