is the clamp pretty strong

i dont know how to measure that but its a little tighter than i would like

but they're on-ear headphones so the isolation is dependant on the clamping force

the 'steps' are subtle and there are so many, so if you put them on your head where both sides are equally adjusted they'll probably slide so one side is longer than the other

if you get them for 30 bucks off ebay its still a steal, even though its insanely bass heavy

its a pain to look for replacement earpads

they dont exist

i had these fabric pads before for my superlux hd 330s

they just made high frequencies so piercing and killed all the bass
