id take pvc anyday
I buy patches to admire on my patch board, so they have to look nice
A good embroidered patch is way better than a good pvc patch
But a bad pvc patch is better than a bad embroidered patch
indeed
Woven is a nice middle ground if you want sharp and high detail but don't want pvc
I have a few woven patches and they look great
Stuff that would look awful if you tried to embroider it
yep most what you get when you "upgrade" from woven to pvc/vinyl is the colors
youd be suprised how often i need to try and whack this information to head of students who want to cheap out "but this manufacturer is just tad bit cheaper
university students around here have this stupid https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Student_boilersuit thing
what is meant to be tagged as much as collectable, lootable, winnable patches as possible
and somehow i find myself being asked for help more than i care to admit ...
What the fuck
People wear that godawful thing?!
(the image in picture gives bad idea i suggest opening the actualy link and seeing up to date pictures
that picture is some sweden fuckgly thing
more like this
but ever school/line has its own color
but yeaaah
li mean .. its whole tradition to students around here
i never understood it (even tho i have my wine-red boilersuit too 0-patches sofar cause fuck that noise)
Yeah I don't really get it
buuut anyway tldr: i have annoying amount of knowledge of shitty patches what burn my eyes everytime i even think visiting some student event
i guess this is easier to make it easier to start talking to people
as you can tell who is from where and so on
creates feeling of "unity"
That's not so bad
I like patches but that kind of stuff looks gaudy to me
No thanks
Only one day right
yeah usualy those patches are collected just form student events and bars
people rarely buy to stuff
and larger happenings where you can be lost from your group and so on
I'll stick with my velcro patch board
mfw Tervy even knows about embroidery
