i get by with mine by using my phone for calling and basic stuff and occasional hotspot to the second old phone that was flagship that i use for dumb stuff like newpipe and manga, that i cant just use outright because its verizon

i mean if you can make portable IP-phone use 3.5mA of energy (give or take) on idle (deepsleep+electronics)

and it during call uses around 150mA (if even that)

but its not excuse for decent hardware to work on minimal clocks and disable (gpu+all extra devices) on idle
