they're cheaper than kindles and kobos

and offer more features

they are cheaper than if the same thing was made by samsung or apple

they seem expensive becasue nobody else makes them

Amazon makes like no god damn money on the Kindles cuz they get a killing on ebooks and audiobooks

Just buy a used Kindle Paperwhite and pirate literally everything

Also color eink has been made but it hasn't been commercialized because it's probably pissing expensive and looks like ass

What would you do with a tegra note 7

It is old and doesnt seem to be able to run smoothly

flash lineage without gapps because google's bloat in any form slows everything down and then use fdroid

if you cant do that then do what they designed it to do at this stage and buy a new one. planned obsolescence
