ITODDLERS BTFO
can anyone recommend a hhd cloning software??
Acronis Dick Director, clonezilla, easeus backup, macrium, paragon what else there is ?
depends a lot what you need from "hdd cloning software"
dd
and if you really need to do it often there is FOGproject
but thats next level bullshittery with PXE and stuff
then there is ODIN if you need usb stick stuff but most likely what you are searching for EaseUS todo backup can do it and its most userfriendly/clear
@androidcrawler `dd`
`dd if=/dev/oldhdd of=/dev/newhdd`
incase you are switching hardware
reminder that you need to sysprep your windows installation before migration as DD does not handle that part as its just "copy paste" tool
these days whole prep is automated so it aint so pain in the ass .. IT used to have to do it all manualy and oh boy did it suck at times
With windows 10 you don't need to, just make sure to take the whole device (like sda) and not the partition (like sda1) so it will actually copy the UEFI partition, too
You can dd and reboot
unless its OEM key what is nontransferable
or any other microsoft bullshit expections to that
or have they revisited those ?
also all those millions of malware .. i mean "upgraded" license keys are 1 transfer only
and all oem windows"upgraded" keys are non trasfers iirc
gnome disks<:alismirk:230784726615588865>

if you would look at what you just posted
you would see the seagate barracuda 3tb isn't listed
Hey slylock, I know, but look at the vendors in general. Who buys 3 TB disks these days?
3tb is too small
i buy 5tb minimum
disk speeds is a meme
it is for my usage
it is for most usages
unless you have an incredibly bloated system
have you considered the meme is from a time when 3tb disks were common
