for me it's the exact opposite
the drivers for the AMD card in my work pc are hot garbage and that's the only time i ever use AMD
all my other devices are nvidia and i've never had issues
what card out of curiosity ?
as its work pc ?
fuck if i know
r9 300 something
i got a new pc recently
now i have a quadro p620
how difficult can it be to change a mouse's click switch
i mean my soldering skills are like 3 out of 10
will i fuck it up
depends on your mose and how its built
for my mouse its plug and play (hell they sent extra switches with the mouse)
but in most cases its idiot proof 3 or 2 large pins
even cheap homeburner soldering iron can do em
3
coincidentally some fag in a facebook group fucked it up and burnt off the copper on his pcb
so ... yea he fucked it up
3/10 skills in my book are the people who are soon startting to dip into SMD stuff 1 being total idiot who soldered his first resistor last week and burned it and 10 being the guys who hand-solder finepitch DFN/QFN/WLSCP stuff blindfolded
1 is the person who uses a soldering gun and plumbing solder
i'm not sure if a homeburner soldering iron is a good idea either
those are usually not temperature controller
and 500 °C will fuck up your PCB real quick
alternatively you can be like this person
and use a 120V rated iron on 230V

someone just suggested to put on WD40 on the switch
there's also contact spray
@Frederica Bernkastel why on earth you would want to remove water from switch ...
or is this the meme "lubricate your switches to prevent doubleclick"
that
and people think WD40 is lubricant
tho >facebook< why havent you deleted that shit years ago
yes i know
well i'm just gonna try out my mouse for a bit. after opening it up i don't think there's anything wrong apparent
it does lose clicks when dragging sometimes
fuck!!
it does doubleclick lol
