2019-08-06 12:35:13 UTC

ofc depending how used etc they are

2019-08-06 12:48:38 UTC

Allegedly 2 years old and "used for a few hours every day"

2019-08-06 12:49:01 UTC

Also the seller is saying that he is going to clean it all

2019-08-06 12:49:05 UTC

Remove the dust and so on

2019-08-06 12:49:58 UTC

I will ask about the mainboard. It's not listed explicitly

2019-08-06 15:40:07 UTC

lol no mb included

2019-08-06 15:40:13 UTC

seller answered, RIP

2019-08-06 15:40:21 UTC

not a good deal then I suppose?

2019-08-06 16:03:36 UTC

Get a refurb/open box motherboard that can support Ryzen 3 for the inevitable upgrade I guess?

2019-08-06 16:08:02 UTC

what socket will ryzen 3 use

2019-08-06 16:20:31 UTC

ryzen 3 already exists and it uses AM4

2019-08-06 16:20:49 UTC

oh

2019-08-06 18:42:18 UTC

so that will be about 60-100usd hit extra due no motherboard

2019-08-06 18:42:45 UTC

(do they eve nsell 50-70 usd MBs for AM4 ? )

2019-08-06 19:25:06 UTC

Yeah

2019-08-06 19:25:41 UTC

The cheapest ((gaming)) is mobos start at 70 iirc

2019-08-06 22:08:21 UTC

Theres some cheap mobos that support Ryzen 3000 but don't support features like PBO overclock I think

2019-08-06 22:12:36 UTC

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X Tested on Cheap B350 Motherboard | ...

2019-08-06 22:14:08 UTC

TL;DR Gaymen performance difference is minimal but benchmarks and productivity and video editing are a bit slower

2019-08-06 22:15:26 UTC

Ryzen 9 is ofc a bit overkill and the Mobo gets hot but if you get a Ryzen 5/7 or something in the future it should be ok

2019-08-07 06:53:27 UTC

I can get a second hand B450 for 40€

2019-08-07 06:53:33 UTC

I think I'll go for that

2019-08-08 10:00:49 UTC

2019-08-08 10:01:10 UTC

yeah no wireless or grafical units

2019-08-08 10:01:44 UTC

2019-08-08 10:02:38 UTC

2019-08-08 10:03:00 UTC

2019-08-08 10:03:18 UTC
