im looking at specs now and the big difference i see are just, CPU and maybe screen if one prefers AMOLED
£150/200 vs £300-400 the fuck is this lah
what is mainly why i am asking if its really 48mp sensor
and not just marketing being marketing
>theindianwire
@Tervy that's because pajeets got stuck with two versions of the phone
again
WHICH IS WHY I KEEP SAYING FOR AGES THAT THEIR MODELS DONT MATTER
They have a Note 7 Pro which is what the Note 7 (Global) is for the rest of the world
that indian is indeed talking about the 48mp model
did you even read it you silly cunt
It has a Sony IMX586 sensor
Snapdragon 675 SoC which supports the sensor
he Sony IMX586 uses what is called a Quad-Bayer pattern to accommodate 48 million RGB pixels in the 1/2-inch sensor. That’s as high as it can go for smartphones at present. Now, to capture colour, camera sensor requires what is called a Bayer filter on top of the photosensitive element. The Bayer filter consists of square colour filters, with each square assigned for a specific colour — Either red, green or blue. The red filter block will only allow red light to pass, and similarly, the blue filter will only allow blue to pass. Once the colours are filtered using the Bayer Filter, they are restored by the ISP to bring you the bright, colourful and vibrant images you like.
In case of the Sony IMX586, the Quad-Bayer array and the photosensitive element below it can deliver data straight out of the hardware independently requiring no software interpolation. The Samsung sensor also uses the Quad-Bayer array on top of the photosensitive element, however, the GM-1 breaks each Red, Blue and Green pixel into four smaller pixels (of each) which allows it to output an image with an effective resolution of 48 megapixels.
👌
True 48MP
so yes "effective megapixels" is not megapixels
from sonys site :D
Again
infact its darn good camera
your article isn't the right camera
heres more info onhow that sensor works
(the quad pbayer system )https://www.gsmarena.com/explaining_huawei_p20_pros_triple_camera-news-30497.php
and how its "effective 48 megapixel"
what was indeed the fucking thing i was trying to ask
if its real 48mp sensor or the fucking "marketed as 48MP equivalent" sensor
its still darn good sensor when used right
but there is a difference
@Tervy and the effective megapixels is in reference to the GM-1 which is what Indians are stuck with on *their* Note 7

there is reason they say that fucking "effective" everywhere

can i get a chink phone with a film camera
@onoderaSecurity Redmi Note 7 still has bezels
it's not a bezelless phone
Effective bezelles
