Looking back, the only message I can pull from the movie is the lengths people are willing to go for money
I've seen Cannibal Holocaust. It was meh. Wasn't too great. I didn't like the whole killing animals just for a movie thing
Green Inferno was much better overall
I remember all the controversy surrounding that movie
Didn't the director have a huge legal battle and go to jail because people thought it was real?
Yep
The cast of the movie signed a contract that they wouldn't show up in any media for a year following the movie, because they wanted it to seem authentic.
Soo kinda screwed himself on that one
I saw green inferno on Netflix a while ago but never watched it
Not sure if it's still there
Just checked and yep, it is
Perhaps I'll give it a watch
I love obscure films
i think its an eli roth film actually
He's the guy who made hostel isn't he?
yep, and cabin fever, and inglorious bastards
What a strange filmography
he's also got some weird and odd films. Knock Knock was definitely the oddest I've seen of him
Which has Keanu Reeves
Surprising such an obscure director can get a huge actor like Reeves
He also has a movie with Jim Carrey
I've never seen it. Just noticed it on his filmography
Called Arcane
It seems like he stars in alot of his films as a character
i never woulda noticed. Like M Night Shai.. sshayalamain
Sha something
I think it might be a Stan Lee type thing, he has a cameo in his own films
Because in Hostel he's credited as being "American Stoner"
He's the baseball bat in Inglorious Bastards too. Interesting movie but not one of my faves
I remember “A Serbian Film”
That’s a cursed movie
Inglorious bastards is a Tarantino film isn't it?
Idk
I think it is
oh yeah, thats right
Which would explain why it stars Brad Pitt
eli roth just is in it
I wanna watch Blazing Sadels rn
Haven’t seen it in a while
