all i know that instantly calming the person and and sitting him/her down prevents the poison from spreading decently

specialy if you are in for some walking to reach medical aid

its localises the poison if you manage to calm and sit the patient down instantly

and ofc removing any shoe/jevelwry clothing from the poisoned area as it __will__ swell

best option would be having patient laying down so that bitten part (usualy leg or hand) is lower than heart

and calm speaking next to nothing but not sleeping

until medical aid arrives
