yeah i know but he's just talking about the principle
dave even looked at a t100/t80 to my knowledge

2019-08-21 11:46:11 UTC

yeah but still quite difference in prices too

2019-08-21 11:47:09 UTC

Rossmann also talked about how a knockoff of a fx951 will thrash something using the old type like a Weller any day

2019-08-21 11:52:07 UTC

should I have added any other tips or just use Knife and ILS for now? @Tervy

2019-08-21 11:52:21 UTC

will be mostly working on electronics, small boards

2019-08-21 11:52:21 UTC

thats the question you only can answer

2019-08-21 11:52:40 UTC

i think ILS will be mostly in my use

2019-08-21 12:12:57 UTC

I or D pretty much

2019-08-21 12:13:07 UTC

id D is the straight conical one im thinkking of

2019-08-21 12:15:45 UTC

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32575427569.html this is straight conical i think

2019-08-21 12:16:18 UTC

ILS is thinner and and not a full cone shape

2019-08-21 12:16:34 UTC

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2019-08-21 12:16:51 UTC

i can just use hakko tips too tbh

2019-08-21 12:18:34 UTC

and well "T12 Tip" search on ali has tons of seller for what ever flavor you need anyway

Why there isn’t any battery on xiaomi’s official store on AliExpress

2019-08-22 07:19:10 UTC

sending batteries with planes is a small no-no

2019-08-22 07:29:54 UTC

those ship by train, right?

2019-08-22 07:37:35 UTC

supposed to be train or boat

2019-08-22 07:37:42 UTC

but i've had plenty come by plane

2019-08-22 07:43:24 UTC

Probably might be transported by plane if the cargo bay has some way to counter fires

2019-08-22 07:45:07 UTC

most have fire suppresion, iirc

2019-08-22 07:45:25 UTC

also i think they're not allowed on _passenger_ planes (as extra cargo gets put on those planes)

2019-08-22 07:47:42 UTC

Note for anyone reading and traveling with powerbanks: you can take them with you in the passenger cabin, but not in your luggage

2019-08-22 07:48:11 UTC

probably easier to deal with 1 powerbank fire with you noticing it instantly than having it go hell between tons of bags

2019-08-22 07:48:22 UTC

Yep

2019-08-22 07:54:47 UTC

they're better than nothing

2019-08-22 07:55:11 UTC

i store my batteries in an ammunition crate

2019-08-22 07:55:36 UTC
2019-08-22 08:07:24 UTC

lessons to learn from that : dont keep all your batteries in one stack specialy while charging , care for your batteries, if shit hits the fan you are pretty much screwed anyway unless you use proper bag and even then its 50-50 if you remembered to seal it properly

2019-08-22 08:10:34 UTC

@the_cook have had my Gongtian on flights several times now

2019-08-22 08:10:58 UTC

It has as a 18650 battery in it

2019-08-22 08:11:11 UTC

also what sadly is missing from that quite neat test is the batteries stored in sand inside the ammocan

2019-08-22 08:11:28 UTC

where people either have molded or dig them there
