You want to hold the ball in a straight line between your eyes and the moon as close as possible. If you know what i mean @United Netherlands

You can’t obviously block the moon with the ball but hold it as close as possible

What if the sun and the moon are opposite of each other in the sky? daytime, what phase does the moon have?

@United Netherlands it doesn’t matter so long as the sun and moon are both out and no clouds blocking the sunlight

Ive made a few of these observations

No it doesn’t matter what phase

You just need a moon in the daytime

But i’ve tested it once and the sun lid the same portion of the ball when i held it up to the moon

I did that with a simular type of moon you had in the video.

It’s hard to grasp 3D space on an astromical scale man i thought it was funny too untill i did the test
