Angular resolution, and the perspective ramp, describe the same effect. And it’s what we actually observe in real life.

I’ve seen some people say because they view a wall of water hiding the building, that means the water is curving. However, when the observer’s altitude increases, they can clearly see an entirely flat surface.

Just like how this entirely flat table hides half of the car wheels here.

Several different names for the same effect, but all the results are the same.
