Did you understand a word I said?
☀️➡️🌗
But in reality it's ☀️➡️🌒
lol
How is the moon bright in the night sky?
yeah I understand it, but I don't believe it
@United Netherlands that's bc ur looking at it from the side
Because it reflects off of the Earth
reflection from the sun
the moon might emits her own light
oi
it can't
dude
I'm explaining it the last 10 min
When the moon is bright, sun light is being reflected off of the Earth
if it emitted it's own light it would have to be hot or radioactive i think

@Happygrandad Then explain daytime moon crescents
Not exactly @Happygrandad
idk phases of the moon
i don't learn astronomy in school
Reflections of light from the Earth onto the moon when the rotation causes the Sun and Moon to be in the sky at the same time but not overlapping.
@Happygrandad if I shine a flashlight at your face, is your whole face lit or half of it?
The moon cannot emit light on it's own.
It wouldn't be "radioactive" but it would at least be a bit heated due to it's lights and how people assume stars work with how they even produce light anyways @Happygrandad
@United Netherlands half of it if ur looking from the side
@United Netherlands is there a body between the moon and the sun?
not side
straight
a star fuses atoms together releasing light
@Pence Send proof of light reflecting off a rock <:hahAA:358306291070009345>
Oh
Is the moon gay? @DeltaA350
@Soldz (CF) the light reflects off of the Earth to the moon
...
haha
The Earth has an atmosphere does it not?
Why does the moon emote it’s own light @Pence
@California Nightmare it doesn't
That light comes from reflections off of the Earth
