2019-06-01 22:48:03 UTC

I guess

2019-06-01 22:48:04 UTC

at this point

2019-06-01 22:48:50 UTC

2019-06-01 22:48:53 UTC

?

2019-06-01 22:48:53 UTC

2019-06-01 22:49:10 UTC

thats even worse

2019-06-01 22:49:15 UTC

Quick question. If the moon is strong enough to pull 70% of the water on Earth to make tides. Why doesn’t the earth pull satellites down?

2019-06-01 22:49:23 UTC

He’s breaking down! Just throwing words together to try and sound smart!

2019-06-01 22:49:29 UTC

because they're in orbit

2019-06-01 22:49:30 UTC

bruh

2019-06-01 22:49:33 UTC

@iggy who are you and do you watch tv

2019-06-01 22:49:33 UTC

cos the sattelites are geostationary

2019-06-01 22:49:34 UTC

they're currently falling

2019-06-01 22:49:36 UTC

simple

2019-06-01 22:49:37 UTC

They’re in orbit?

2019-06-01 22:49:40 UTC

It's in orbit

2019-06-01 22:49:42 UTC

yes

2019-06-01 22:49:43 UTC

yes

2019-06-01 22:49:44 UTC

They’re falling perpetually?

2019-06-01 22:49:47 UTC

yes

2019-06-01 22:49:52 UTC

geostationary

2019-06-01 22:49:54 UTC

falling along the curve of the earth

2019-06-01 22:49:56 UTC

they aree falling along with earth

2019-06-01 22:49:59 UTC

What keeps them up when they fall perpetually?

2019-06-01 22:50:07 UTC

Gravity

2019-06-01 22:50:08 UTC

?

2019-06-01 22:50:10 UTC

They are falling down

2019-06-01 22:50:16 UTC

@iggy what’s your favourite tv

2019-06-01 22:50:23 UTC

but by the time they are falling down they are around the planet

2019-06-01 22:50:24 UTC

like

2019-06-01 22:50:48 UTC

So they fall perpetually, but don’t ever fall to the earth?

2019-06-01 22:50:52 UTC

They come into the orbit with acceleration. They are constantly falling, but by the time they have reached lower altitude they are on the side of the planet so it doesn't matter

2019-06-01 22:50:53 UTC

Yep.

2019-06-01 22:50:53 UTC

yes

2019-06-01 22:50:54 UTC

if that makes sense

2019-06-01 22:50:59 UTC

That’s how science works.
