Reasons vary. The most prominent being that you can control a person if you get them to believe a lie.
Then where does the world end? Why do we see a friggin ball in space?
All the pictures of earth being a ball are manufactured. None of them are accurate representations of the earth.
Why can we go a r o u n d the world to get to the same place?
And I can only tell you what I believe regarding the end of the earth, since I haven’t been there myself.
