Trust me space rocks are reallllllly powerful
Meteor showers are rocks burning up
why isn't the light red/yellow then
a number of meteors that appear to radiate from one point in the sky at a particular date each year, due to the earth's regularly passing through a field of particles at that position in its orbit. Meteor showers are named after the constellation in which the radiant is situated, e.g., the Perseids.
Not really just that
idk lets find out
because of the material is being burned off
But also ice and dust trails
it is too bright, looking just light stars
That is ice and rock being burned, so a different color trail
@Bibleman The atoms in the meteoroid emit light because they are heated up by entering the atmosphere, and so they burn and release different wavelengths of light, or different colors, in the same way that putting different compounds into fireworks makes them explode in different colors
*like
going through the atmosphere really is a wild ride
Also fire doesn't have to be red or yellow
like the atomic emission specturm (?)
You can prove it pretty easily
yeyeye The emission spectrum of a chemical element or chemical compound is the spectrum of frequencies of electromagnetic radiation emitted due to an atom or molecule making a transition from a high energy state to a lower energy state.
Dont look at things burning as always being red hot, it always depends on the material and wavelength
^
it's something else though, as meteors don't exist
lol
I doubt that the streaks have the same conditions to behave like normal fire
that's just a bit of denial right there
yup
what are they then
I'm assuming stars
well, lets go to hebrew mythology
oh no
oh god
Sure, let's hear it
according to hebrew mythology, when demons try to invade heaven, they are thrown with such force that they streak across the sky
yea... ok
lmao Meteors are no more than dust and ice from the trail of comets. Meteorites can be "stony", made up of minerals rich in silicon and oxygen, "iron", consisting mainly of iron and nickel, or "stony-iron", a combination of the two
by Raguel, the angel
why not just use the scientific consensus
But how do they get so bright if they're thrown
well try to imagine as a thought experiment, a flat earth where these 'meteor showers' aren't at all what you've been told they are on the globe. how would you determine what they are
im not going to use fake science
what about landed meteorites
You seem to actively dismiss science and are quick to accept the word of some ancient book.
