Then there is no stuff
provide higher pressure at sea level
That’s how our atmosphere works
and with less gas on top the higher up you go, the lower the pressure
in fact, the earth's atmosphere may extend, at an indescribably small thinness, hundreds of thousands of kilometers away from sea level
But you get to a point in deep space
where the amount of matter in a given space
is so miniscule, that the degradation it causes in movement and orbits is negligible over any reasonable amount of time
in fact, the ISS has to perform periodical boosts to keep its orbit high enough every couple months
as it loses 2-4 m/s in that time frame from orbital degradation
as they are only I think 450 km or so above the surface, so there's still a little bit of atmosphere to be slowed down
The propellant is an oxidizer and creates its own chemical reaction to produce thrust.
but geosynchronous satellites, which are around 1500 km up, are more subject to gravitational forces from the moon than the atmosphere
it's basic physics
did you not
listen
to a single word that we just said
The largest vacuum chamber on earth takes 3 days to depressurize
Remember, if it doesn’t appeal to what you believe in, it’s automatically not real. @racecartacocat
well guess what
so
I double promise you, You won't have thrust of any kind
there is a photo that has a gradient
one, that analogy is completely unrelated and two, the earth has existed for 4 billion years my guy
And even if you do, it won't be controlled
and yet the arrow does not take into account that gradient
ikr
💯
the atmosphere's change of pressure is gradual
that's why plane cabins are pressurized
if you stuck your head out of a commercial plane, you'd probably freeze to death and/or suffocate
hypoxia
but yes
that's why it's hard to breathe on mount everest and not on the beach
inb4 everyone who goes up Mount Everest has asthma
yeah you have to acclimate to the thinner air to be able to go up to even some of the first base camps
without oxygen supply
If anyone else wants to argue about flat earth I'm still open to having a debate
they'll tell you that rockets work by pushing on air to go up
