The more simplistic way to understand it is mass attracting mass, but that was an incomplete theory. As of right now, the bending of space time is the more accurate of the two. Although, Newtonian gravity works just fine at scales we experience everyday, as the space time that you bend from your mass is insignificant to that of the earths.

There’s plenty of evidence to support it, they use it to calculate the movements of celestial bodies all the time. In fact Veritasium did a video on them attempting to proof GR wrong with a defunked satellite.

It depends, rads are used to measure the amount of radiation absorbed by human tissue, sieverts measures the potential harm caused with respect to the type of radiation and where it was absorb. At least that is what my limited knowledge of the subject has led me to understand
