The North pole holds the magnetic feild thanks to the south and nothe poles we have a positive and negative electric feild this can be proven by compass's as compass are attracted to a magnetic pull. it also happens the poles exists on sides of the earth that are further from the sun. At least thats about as much as i know for a fact
