But what if the main purpose for spending quality time and naming them is for their overall development or growth?
🤔
True
these chickens belong to my sister, but i did grab one and couped it and named it Oscar.. it died 3 weeks later of im not sure what maybe loneliness,, i buried her and gave her a tombstone
I have a question
Say you do name your livestock and spend quality time with it.
i suppose there'd be too many names to handle anyhow, how keep track of all the names would be near impossible lol
What do you think about a person who shows no remorse or hesitation when killing them just like a normal farmer would do?
Are they like um heartless?
What do you think @Abe Lover
No no
imagine trying to keep up with all those names !
Like for example I name my livestock and like spending quality time with them and show love and care and appreciation unlike any other but still on the day to kill them I show no sign of hesitation or remorse or empathy
i think the bottom line, is the better the animal is taken care of, the more love and affection it's given, the healthier it will be to eat and the more holistically well for all concerned. . the reverse side is like what Ane said then it'd be much harder to kill
I doubt people such as those exist Lampz
I agree with Zane
Ane* autocorrect
Having a switch in the brain is quite psychopathic especially that type of switch
So in that case if they have a switch would it still be efficient to treat your livestock in that way for development and growth giving them the most fulfilled life they possibly can have?
It also depends on the farmers' personal values
This is a surprisingly interesting topic
that's another reason why mixing business with family is frowned upon
how will your business thrive if you're constantly feeling empathy for your livestock when they get slaughtered
they work, but many of them cause internal conflict
conflict that might not otherwise be there if it wasn't a family or loved member
Do you think gaining an emotional attachment means to necessarily have a sense of empathy on the day of killing? This is what I wanna know
Have any of you seen the promised neverland?
like ane said, it all depends on the farmer, does he have the switch to turn off the empathy, or not
but those that do will likely profit less
the end is coming
Promised neverland?
They let the children live happy lives in a farm designed as an orphanage. prior to being instantly killed on the date of their “adoption” to be demon food and the mother that takes care of the kids shows no remorse or hesitation even tho she names and loves the children and adores them as if they were her own
That’s what the promised neverland is about
@Three Worlds yep around how long do you reckon we have left
on this world, not long
not long, in what context?
in the context of the betterment of mankind its self
It’s an anime series or manga
