like the appendix

2019-10-24 00:04:36 UTC

Exactly

2019-10-24 00:05:18 UTC

i've heard people say that we dont really need a pinky toe lol

2019-10-24 00:05:21 UTC

Appendix isn’t useless

2019-10-24 00:05:26 UTC

"a perfect Creator would not make useless organs"

2019-10-24 00:05:27 UTC

Helps us not get sick

Well it’s not just the human appendix. Other animals have vestigial organs: the pelvic bone of a snake, and the wings of flightless birds

2019-10-24 00:06:19 UTC

Still doesn't support evolution obviously

2019-10-24 00:06:25 UTC

what

2019-10-24 00:06:44 UTC

c o m e a g a i n ?

2019-10-24 00:06:57 UTC

?

2019-10-24 00:07:22 UTC

he says a perfect creator dosen't make useless organs but then says it doesen't support evolution

2019-10-24 00:08:31 UTC

Well the theory of evolution just makes sense to me because I don’t believe there is a celestial being/creator <a:PotatoWobble:580786951054032929>

2019-10-24 00:08:51 UTC

mhm

2019-10-24 00:08:51 UTC

I believe in evolution and God

2019-10-24 00:08:57 UTC

how does that work?

2019-10-24 00:09:09 UTC

You can believe in both

2019-10-24 00:09:32 UTC

God fine tuning the universe to bring about life through natural processes

2019-10-24 00:09:56 UTC

ah

2019-10-24 00:10:59 UTC

@Metallica same. evolution just makes sense. like it all clicks together

2019-10-24 00:11:50 UTC

i read somewhere that monkeys have entered the stone age

2019-10-24 00:13:12 UTC

"he says a perfect creator dosen't make useless organs but then says it doesen't support evolution" @Lamp I was talking about how having "useless organs" doesn't necessarily support evolution due to correlation not being causation

2019-10-24 00:13:13 UTC

Then again, you have to remember that so much is unknown. It’s really amazing to think about! Like how we’ve only explored 3% of earths ocean. The types of creatures that could be down there is unfathomable

2019-10-24 00:13:38 UTC

Same goes for the universe

2019-10-24 00:13:52 UTC

(If you believe it)

2019-10-24 00:13:56 UTC

you're right. but tbh, i think there's just a bunch of rocks down there

2019-10-24 00:14:57 UTC

I don’t doubt it, the pressure becomes so much greater that I don’t think anything could really survive down there. It’s cool to think about none the less

2019-10-24 00:15:30 UTC

There is evidence that creatures live down there already

2019-10-24 00:15:41 UTC

i know, thats in the video

2019-10-24 00:15:48 UTC

Ah

2019-10-24 00:15:49 UTC

just pale fish

2019-10-24 00:15:59 UTC

nothing impressive

and stars are so far away (if you believe in them) that we might die as a species before we ever make contact with other life
