Got there last night.

Now they'll work on getting her strong enough to go back to apartment

Yes, she lives in an independent living facility.

They also have assisted living

Skilled care and sub-acute care

She is in sub-acute care now (rehab)

Her apartment is about 1/2 block away (as the crow flies)

Yes @Gailm that is the preferred facilities they build today....good choice.

But a LOT farther if she walks it

Much longer if she takes the tunnel underneath the buildings

The one near me is huuuuuuuge. Beautiful grounds and facility.
