KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas -- Stormy Daniels’ husband, Glendon Miller Crain, has filed for divorce in a North Texas court.
The couple married in 2015 and live in Forney, Texas, just outside of Dallas.
In the divorce petition, filed in Kaufman County, Crain claims Daniels committed adultery. A judge also granted Crain a temporary restraining order, preventing Daniels from taking the couple’s 7-year-old daughter on tour with her. Daniels is an adult film actress who's currently dancing and performing in night clubs across America.
Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti confirmed the divorce on Twitter just before 11:30 a.m.
"A petition for divorce was filed last week, the accuracy of which is vehemently disputed," Avenatti said. "Stormy’s daughter remains her number one priority. She kindly asks for privacy for the sake of her family."

Daniels made headlines this year after alleging she had an affair with President Donald Trump in 2006 and was paid off by his lawyer just before the election.
She has since filed a lawsuit that claims the nondisclosure agreement she signed was invalid because Trump never signed it. The president has denied knowing about any exchange of money.
Earlier this month Daniels was arrested by undercover vice cops during a sting operation in Ohio, but the charges have since been dropped

MEXICO CITY (AP) - Homicides in Mexico have risen 16 percent in the first half of 2018, as the country again breaks its records for violence.
The Interior Department said over the weekend there were 15,973 homicides in the first six months of the year, compared to 13,751 killings in the same period of 2017.
The number is the highest since comparable records began being kept in 1997, including the peak year of Mexico's drug war in 2011.

ORANGE COUNTY — The trial of Charles Edward Burke, 60, began Monday in Orange County's 163rd District Court.

Burke is charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child and has been in jail since his arrest on October 17, 2017. His bond is set at $100,000.
The prosecutor in the case is Assistant District Attorney Krispen Walker.

HOWARD COUNTY, TX (KWES) -
Patterson-UTI Drilling released this statement on the rig fire:
This morning, a fire appears to have originated from third-party equipment and spread to one of our drilling rigs in west Texas. The local fire department extinguished the fire, all onsite personnel are accounted for and no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but we can confirm that this was not a well control incident. We remain committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees and others we work with in the field.

An oil rig caught on fire in Howard County at around 9:30 a.m.
The Howard County Volunteer Fire Department told us that the fire was put out at around 12:30 p.m.
The Howard County VFD and emergency personnel from Martin County and Dawson County responded to the fire.
The fire was at a Patterson rig, number 289, near the intersection of West County Road 52 and County Road 50.
Patterson has confirmed there were no injuries.

EL MONTE, CA (KABC/CNN) - A woman is in critical condition after a chemical attack.

UK police think boy, 3, was attacked with acid at store
Police responded to the call early Saturday morning.
The victim was found lying on the ground with severe burns to her face and body.
Authorities said an unknown suspect poured some sort of chemical on the woman before fleeing in a vehicle.
"Well, the make-up of the chemical is unknown at this time," El Monte Police Sgt. Aram Choe said. “It's still an ongoing investigation. But the chemicals contacted her body, which caused considerable skin damage, a considerable amount of pain, as you can imagine, and she may have inhaled some of the fumes, which may have caused some damage to her respiratory system."
There’s no word on a possible motive.
Anyone with information about this attack is asked to contact the El Monte Police Department.
