I am a medical grower in Ca, and recreational cannabis has destroyed the Medical cannabis community.... prior to rec, I could buy edibles for my mother that were cost effective.... a 20 serving chocolate bar contained 500 mg of thc this we would again divide down to 10 mg doses.... all for about 25$.
Then rec laws were passed here. Now the medical community pays an additional 30% in taxs.... & they have limited the total thc content for ALL EDIBLES REC OR MED! to 100 mg.... so now that same bar has 20% of the medication, and costs 30% more!
YES THATS RIGHT THAT BAR IS NOW 100 MG BUT COSTS 25$ + 30% TAX!
And they wonder why the talent is moving back to the dark side.... its thr only way to supply our patients with AFFORDABLE CLEAN MEDICINE!
OK I feel better... sorry for the rant...
