Shortly after twitter founding, we had a conversation about what a re-tweet should entail. My testament was that the origional tweet should be provided as originating content should be presented from it's source.

I think twitter recently said it wouldn't allow tweets which are copy/pasted to get picked up by the algorithm and shadow ban them. Not sure if they actually are doing this yet though
