6:05 P.M.

A heavy police presence was reported at Sam's Town hotel-casino on Boulder Highway as officers searched the area for a suspect. Officers said a woman was stabbed at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Nellis Boulevard and walked into the casino but after searching the property the attacker was not inside. The woman was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and police continued their search for the suspect.
