I’ve lived all my life in California. When we head up to Tahoe, that’s the only cold weather I have to deal with. And I don’t go when it’s snowing (at least anymore).

Oh yes @Gailm , more in the northern cali of course but not very dense at all. In SoCal Orange county used to be Red and Central /West of State is Red.
