How many acres @shai'enne
what is the indian counsel called? not the Navajo but the collective, inclduing Hopi and other tribes that have been aggregated under one counsel. And if you know, what gives that counsel any authority?
I need to look into that
I'm a member of AIM
Its a lobby group
Not for financial gain
does it have a website I can review its charter and mission?
The American Indian Movement is a Native American grassroots movement that was founded in the United States in July 1968 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
I'm trying to impress on AIM to try and end the Indian land trusts
It will be painful in the beginning
People will die
But we will survive
Many tribes are not recognized by the government
They're doing great
No government money or casinos
I'll post a link
If you wonder if you can trust the government ask an Indian
@shai'enne I reviewed the website @Half Right provided and read your summary post. May I send you a DM?
Watched the videos @shai'enne , that last one reminded me of my neighbor, although my neighbor has running water. Prayers for you your people.

No fighting, at the moment. Fall weather is setting in. waiting for seal (toilet) in the mail, end of week or early next week.
Been following story on MARADMIN 550/19. Growing interest in deployments.

Hello @the Steward
Hello, @Half Right , how are you?
Great
Watched some very moving videos on some of the conditions on Indian reservations. It irks me that so much money flows into the federal coffers and just gets 'lost' to the whims and pocketbooks of politicians.
I just watched them myself, very moving...
It is interesting what was said about the lands not being in titles to individual Indian families, with all of the same property rights most land owners have. I wonder if it is due to some tribes belief that the land can not be owned, only stewarded, for future generations?
We would have to look at past treaties for all the tribes in that area
