I don't like when our parents get old

Does she have a favorite food?

She likes lots of stuff

We make her at least one big meal a week

Then she has left-overs

She gets 10 meal tickets a month

For dinner in the dining room

She has to sign up for whatever meals she likes

Like turkey and stuffing day

Does she have any friends there?

or meatloaf day

Yes, she has a couple of friends

Aww is she able to go to the dining room on her own

Right after Dad died, three widow friends "adopted" her

Not anymore

I've been going down and picking up her meals for her

ohh ok

Next one is Saturday night

Other than the fall and her age.. is she in good health?

I usually go over there in the mornings, but I guess I'll go in the evening

she has two titanium knees and a titanium hip

oh wow

has arthritis and scoliosis

She uses a walker

But not that bad for 92, really

I know it must be really hard on you as well. It's not easy taking care of someone you love.. in every way.. but it's one thing that you will never regret. So I am so glad you are having these moments with her everyday.

I don't regret taking care of Dad for one second.

Now it's time to take care of Mom.
