So it look like 8chan is now going to be called 8kun! Ahh I get it. You have to know some Japanese to understand the word play. I always thought “Chan” was short for “channel” but it’s actually a Japanese word you add to someone name that you know very well as a child. Example Ronald (Code Monkey) would be Ronchan. (Little Ronnie). However, “kun” is basically the same thing as “chan” but used just for young males that you know very well. So 8chan (Little8)has now become 8kun (Young Mr. 8). I think CM is of Japanese decent. If I’m right it all makes sense.
