There is a 600 year old prophecy saying Pope Francis would be the last pope. (He's called Petros Romanos in the prophecy.)
At first I didn't put much stock in the prophecy. But I can soooo see this happening: What if the crimes of the Catholic clergy is fully exposed as Jesus said. (All things hidden would be revealed) and the true followers of Christ in the Catholic Church become so outraged that the Catholic Church falls?
What if the Catholic Church is the woman riding the scarlet beast in Revelation 17:4? (The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality.)
