@Jayde I buy my bacon out of the meat counter that is thick cut, very lean and Applewood smoked. Brand is Hempler's

@Jayde I buy 5 pounds at a time then portion it when I get home and freeze it.

Pretty much what i do

When I want bacon I just remove a small packet from te freezere and toss it in the skillet to fry @Jayde

Then buy a whole deer except no ground venison..... Dont like it

@Jayde You can turn the grind meat into sausages such as Summer Sausage or Salamis

Saves us a ton of money

Yeah we dont hunt personally so i get beef from my dad (on the rate occasion we eat red meat) then get rest from local hunters

Or pork from local sellers

Try to source local when i can
