Okay.
Reboot.
I have a question, I dont care what the missed date was about, but this was a bench issue for failure to appear?
I'm on the side of the people. As individuals.
Yup bench warrant - but we can't give them a pass on that because the deputy never claimed to not need a paper warrant - the debate was over whether the piece of paper had a signature on it - and he also said "the judge signed it"
What was the orig charge
We were debating their legal authority to arrest me.
He was claiming he had a signed warrant - which was his basis.
why are you people still engaging with the idiot?
I accepted that presumption challenged his evidence.
Original charge "Intent to influence a public servant"
I had already been to court on it four other times out on PR bond free.
They jacked me to 10K bond for one FTA
on a non-violent charge
But there has to be a charge that the failure to appear would cause the judge to sue a BW
They wanted to jail me have me get robbed hope I'd take off after getting out - because I was running for sheriff.
Right charge was "intent to influence a public servant" brb...
explained here
What did you do for them to have charged you with that
Threatened code enforcement agents with a trespassing lawsuit.
that vid is pretty mind blowing
i caught them swapping out the supposed evidence
these people are beyond corrupt
You must live in the south
hence the sheriff run someone's gotta do it
I'm far from qualifed but the most qualfied that is running
I've been thru a couple of those years ago... both times they had the "power" to arrest, but my attitude didn't give them reason for a ride... on that note... times have changed I'm more likely to round the corner when I see a black and white as not now.
If you have an open charge how can you run
Presumption of innocence.
I am innocent.
It's not a felony to threaten a civil lawsuit.
So you have not had a trial, or a bench trial
It's also not a felony to demand proper documentation when being arrested.
no trial.
This is a benchmark case
do we get warrants or not?
They want to let a jury decide that on July 16th
If we get warrants or not.
@SighOperator I think Vince's idea of having witnesses in courts actually makes sense, but I think it would come across better if he didn't need it himself. Sometimes too much info can be counter productive
because that's my case: No warrant.
